Reconsider someone you declined

An eligible client-declined candidate can be returned to consideration without starting their candidacy again.

When this is useful

Your hiring needs may change, or a candidate may deserve another look. Reactivation lets you revisit that decision while keeping it attached to the same position.

How to use it

1. Open the candidate for the position you are reviewing.
2. Look for the declined-candidate notice and the Reactivate candidate action.
3. Select the action when available, then review the candidate’s updated state before choosing a next step.

Availability

This is for client-declined candidates outside the interviewed view while the position is open or private. Reactivating does not hire the person or schedule an interview. If the action is absent, check the candidate and position status.
