This notice explains how Lawtrades, Inc. processes information when you connect Gmail, Slack, Granola or Zoom inside Lawtrades Agent. It supplements the Lawtrades Privacy Policy. Connecting an external AI client to the Lawtrades MCP service is a separate workflow.
The Gmail disclosures below apply only when a Gmail connection is enabled for your account. Preparing email text in a chat does not by itself give Lawtrades access to your inbox.
Lawtrades Privacy PolicyWhat connecting allows
The provider authenticates you and issues authorization tokens. Lawtrades stores those tokens in encrypted form and uses them to access the features you authorize. We do not receive your provider password. Access also depends on your provider's plan, source permissions and workspace policies.
- Gmail: connected-account identity, inbox-thread metadata and selected email content for review, summaries and replies. The draft permission allows LT Agent to save a draft after you review and confirm it. Google's permission description also mentions sending; this connector does not expose an email-send action.
- Slack: connected-account/workspace identity, people lookup, recent incoming-message discovery and selected message or thread content. A Slack message is posted only after you review the prepared text and destination and confirm the post.
- Granola: accessible meeting-note metadata and selected note content for summaries and requested next steps.
- Zoom: accessible meeting and recording metadata, selected available summaries or transcripts, and upcoming meeting metadata for preparation. The Zoom connection uses read-only operations.
How the information is used
We use accessible source information to offer relevant Smart Actions, answer your requests, and prepare reviewed next steps such as replies or Lawtrades worklog drafts. Source discovery can run when Smart Actions load; selecting a source can retrieve its content for the Agent. Connection status, source identity and confirmed results help prevent repeated or incorrectly completed suggestions.
A connected badge or an opened suggestion does not itself send a message, save a draft or create a worklog. Those actions use separate review and confirmation controls.
Who processes the information
The connected provider processes authentication and its API requests under its own policies. Lawtrades' backend retrieves the authorized information. Configured AI model providers, including OpenAI or Anthropic, process content needed to answer or draft. Some draft-preparation requests are routed through OpenRouter to the configured model provider. TypeSafe Jev receives bounded suggestion labels and reasons to help select actions; these can include a source title or other short source-derived description. Connector tokens are not included in language-model prompts.
Lawtrades uses hosting and storage providers to operate the service, including Google Cloud for the agent service and conversations. The company Privacy Policy describes our commitments concerning AI model training, confidentiality and other disclosures. Data is not shared with another Lawtrades customer merely because you connect an app.
Storage and retention
Connection records are retained to maintain the connection and refresh access where supported. Disconnecting removes the app's locally stored connection record. It does not automatically remove the provider's authorization record or content already saved elsewhere.
Selected content and generated responses can be retained in your Lawtrades conversation. Production agent conversation storage is in Google Cloud's US-CENTRAL1 region. Its object lifecycle schedules deletion at 30 days of object age, followed by a seven-day soft-delete retention period. Lifecycle deletion is asynchronous; this is not a guarantee of deletion exactly 30 days after a message or immediately after disconnecting.
Separate action-state and operation records track suggestions, dismissals, source versions and confirmed provider results. These records are not all governed by the conversation object's lifetime. Saved Lawtrades worklogs and provider-side Gmail drafts or Slack messages have their own record lifecycles. Operational logs and database backups are also separate from conversation storage.
Your controls
You can cancel sign-in, decline permissions, review and edit a prepared action, or disconnect an app in Settings → Plugins. You can also revoke access through the provider's connected-app controls. Disconnecting stops subsequent use of that stored connection; an operation already in progress may have completed, so check its result before repeating it.
Use Lawtrades conversation controls to delete a saved conversation and the provider's controls for its own drafts, messages or meeting records. Disconnecting does not delete those copies. For access, correction or deletion requests concerning connection, action, operation or other stored records, contact help@lawtrades.com. Backup retention and applicable legal obligations may limit immediate deletion.
When contacting support, identify the connected app and approximate time of the problem. Do not send passwords, authorization codes, tokens or confidential source content.
