Lawtrades Agent

Connect apps to Lawtrades Agent

Set up Slack, Granola and Zoom, use Smart Actions, and troubleshoot connections.

For accounts with Plugins available in Lawtrades Agent. Each connected app uses the permissions of the account you authorize.

About this guide

Bring the context from your messages and meetings into Lawtrades Agent. Review a conversation, prepare a reply, or turn meeting notes into a worklog draft without starting from scratch.

The apps and content you can access depend on your account permissions, provider subscription and workspace policies.

Connect an app

No API key is needed. See how connected-app data is handled before connecting.

  1. Sign in to LT Agent, open Plugins in the sidebar, and choose Connect beside your app. You can also open Settings → Plugins.
  2. Sign in to the provider using the account you want to connect and review its requested permissions. Your provider or workspace administrator may require additional verification or approval.
  3. Return to LT Agent. Check the connection status before starting a task. If sign-in fails or is cancelled, the app will explain how to try again.
LT Agent

Slack

Review recent incoming messages or a selected thread, understand the discussion, and prepare a reply. LT Agent shows the message and destination for review before a confirmed Slack post.

Try: “What did my teammate ask me about the project?”

Granola

Summarize accessible meeting notes and identify next steps. Turn a selected note into a worklog draft, then choose the correct Lawtrades project and review the work and time before saving.

Try: “What did we decide in my latest client call?”

Zoom

Prepare for accessible upcoming meetings and review available meeting summaries or transcripts. Meeting content depends on the connected Zoom account and the recording or summary being available. This connector does not schedule, join, record or modify meetings.

Try: “Help me prepare for my next meeting.”

Smart Actions and follow-ups

Connected apps can contribute relevant next steps to Smart Actions. The Agent uses the selected source to answer or draft. You do not need to write a prompt to start a suggested task. Connecting multiple apps does not guarantee a suggestion from each one. An app may have nothing relevant available, or its permission or content may be unavailable.

Opening a suggestion starts the task. A successful review or confirmed result retires that version of the action. If a request fails, retry it from the conversation. New source information can lead to a new suggestion.

After a response, follow-up buttons offer relevant next steps, such as drafting a reply or turning meeting notes into a worklog draft. Select a follow-up to continue in the same conversation. Review the prepared content and destination before confirming any save or post.

Prepare an email

Ask LT Agent to prepare email text from your conversation, pasted content or connected-app context you can access. Review and copy the text into your email app to send it. This does not connect your inbox or send an email.

If something does not connect

  • Sign-in window did not open: allow pop-ups for Lawtrades and use the sign-in link shown in Plugins.
  • Wrong account: cancel sign-in, choose the correct account in the provider, and try again. Confirm the displayed account where available.
  • More access is needed: reconnect and review the additional permission request. Declining access can leave the affected workflow unavailable.
  • Administrator or app approval required: follow the provider's approval process. Repeatedly reconnecting cannot bypass that restriction.
  • Connected but no notes, messages or meetings: check that the source exists in that provider account and that your account can access it. An empty result is not proof that the connection failed.
  • A save or post has an uncertain result: check its status in LT Agent or the provider before trying again, to avoid creating a duplicate.

Disconnect an app

Open Settings → Plugins, expand the connected app, and choose Disconnect. This removes the connection from LT Agent. You can separately revoke Lawtrades access in the provider's connected-app settings. Existing chats, saved worklogs and Slack messages are not deleted by disconnecting.
