Move from a profile to a conversation
Clients can request an interview from a Project candidate or message thread. The Project’s Interviews tab keeps requests, scheduled calls and completed interviews together.
When this is useful
Use an interview to discuss the scope, relevant experience and availability before hiring. Starting from the candidate keeps the scheduling request connected to the person you are reviewing.
How to use it
- Open the hiring Project and find the candidate in Candidates or the message thread.
- Choose Request Interview on the candidate card or Schedule interview in the thread, when available.
- Add context, choose the duration, and review the proposed times and timezone.
- Select Send Request and wait for confirmation.
- Open Interviews to follow the request and find the call link once the interview is scheduled.
Authored illustration with example attorney data: a pending request appears in Interviews with two proposed times and View request.

A request is not a confirmed meeting
Check the request’s status before treating a proposed time as booked. New interview requests require an eligible hiring Project and the appropriate candidate action.
