Write your headline and bio

Open your profile editor

1. Open your own Profile and select the edit control for your overview.
2. Update Headline. Keep it within 50 characters.
3. Write a Short bio of up to 200 characters and a Long bio of up to 5,000 characters.
4. Select Save, then check how the text reads on your profile.

Give someone a reason to keep reading

Lead with the work you do best. Use the longer bio for relevant experience and a concrete example of your contribution. Avoid repeating your entire work history.

Example headline: “Commercial counsel for growing software teams.” Adapt it to your own experience.

If your changes do not save

Check the character counters and any required fields in the editor. Keep a copy of your text while you correct the error.
