Prepare and practice for your interview
Get a brief for your scheduled interview, then rehearse one question at a time.
For candidates and client interviewers with an upcoming scheduled interview. Practice is available to candidates after their Prep brief.
Start with your upcoming interview
Prep uses the interview’s linked role and the records your account can access. It calls out missing or conflicting information so you know what to clarify.
- Open Interviews → Upcoming and find your scheduled interview.
- Select Prep beside the meeting. Lawtrades Agent opens a new conversation and prepares a brief.
- Read the brief and its source notes. Ask a follow-up in the same chat.
If you are interviewing for the role
Your brief connects the job description with your application and available profile information. It suggests how to position your experience, examples to prepare and questions to ask.
Practice stays tied to that interview and the available role and profile context. Hypothetical examples are for rehearsal; do not present them as your own experience.
- After your brief, select Practice this interview.
- Answer the question in chat as you would in the interview.
- Use the feedback to make your answer more specific, then continue one question at a time.
If you are interviewing a candidate
Your brief uses the linked job description, available company context and that interview’s candidate profile. It suggests questions, follow-ups and points to probe.
Ask “Turn this into a short interview agenda.” to continue in the same chat. The Practice this interview button is available to candidates.
If Prep or Practice is missing
Prep is available for scheduled future interviews where you are a participant. Check the signed-in account and the meeting’s status.
Practice appears once a candidate’s Prep brief finishes, while the interview is still upcoming. If the response was interrupted or its context is no longer available, start a new Prep brief from the interview.
